DANTE

Special Engagement

Tickets $10

July 11-12 (Friday/Saturday)

"Last Comic Standing"
"Comics Unleashed"

With Feature comic: Dave Thurston

Born Jay Dante Rusciolelli, DANTE is currently a cast member on Last Comic Standing. On Last Comic Standing, he received the Capital One / No Hassle Pass audience favorite award in the LA auditions and again at the Semi-finals, becoming one of only two comedians in the show's history to receive back-to-back audience favorite awards; he even received the first standing ovation ever had during the show's semis round! On the show he is represented in the story line as the cute stay at home dad. The Internet response to Dante has been the most positive out of everyone. By far the most talked about cast member on line.

Dante is one of the top headlining comedians in the United States, appearing on numerous television shows and in films, and appearing to sold-out crowds across the country, as well as making regular stops each year at U.S. military bases around the world, entertaining the troops in every branch of the Armed Forces. He has been honored as the recipient of several comedy awards, including the $10,000 grand prize on America's Funniest People on ABC; he also still holds the record for winning the most comedy awards ever presented to a single comedian at the BET Comedy Awards. Dante was even the winner of Los Angeles "Funniest Black Comic in LA" award... we're still not sure how he even qualified for that one!

While he travels across the country, as well as abroad, today Dante calls Los Angeles his home, where you can catch him regularly at The Comedy Store and the Laugh Factory. In his comedy journey, Dante has had the honor and pleasure of working with some of the greats in the entertainment business, including Richard Pryor, Robin Williams, Milton Berle, BB King, Santana & Macy Grey... as well as Weird Al Yankovich (who may or may not qualify as one of the "greats" - but he IS a heck of a lot of fun!).

With his sold-out club shows & recent television appearances, as well as upcoming projects in the near future, Dante is one act that's hard to miss!

Sunday Night Pro Show with...

Bob Kubota

(3 comedians scheduled to appear)

Tickets - $10

Sunday, July 13

"MTV"
"Comedy Central"

Bob Kubota began his career as a stand-up comic in 1987 while still a student of journalism at Arizona State University. Encouraged by virtually no one, he honed his particular idea of humor at "open mike nights" sponsored by various saloons and bistros throughout the greater Phoenix area. Within two years Bob was "on the bill" for paying customers at legitimate comedy clubs. Only then did he let his parents know that his life dream didn't include bar exams - just bars.

His penchant for dry wit, lighthearted sarcasm and deciphering life's ironies has led him to the majority of the contiguous 48 states as well as Alaska and Hawaii. The sly take that he has on his own ethnicity continually proves to be a popular feature of his act. In 1996 he became an international performer when he joined the United Service Organization (USO) and now tours regularly with the “Comics On Duty” (Davis Entertainment) providing comic relief to American military troops stationed around the globe. Bob has now spun his material in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bahrain, England, Iceland, Hungary, Belgium, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Diego Garcia, Australia, Haiti, Honduras, Cuba, and many more. He has also performed in Hong Kong for English-speaking residents of the city's bustling business and finance community.

Bob has apeared on nearly a dozen comedy programs featuring stand-ups, from Comedy Central to A&E and MTV.

Claude Stuart

Special Engagement

Tickets $10

July 25-26 (Friday/Saturday)

"The Best Damn Sports Show"
"Comics Unleashed"

With Feature comic: Bruce Heppler

After winning "The Funnies Person in SMU Contest" in 1995, Claude fell in love with and began pursuing stand-up comedy. (SMU technically stands for 'Southern Methodist University'; however, Claude is convinced it stands for 'Sex, Money and Underwear'.)

Claude has been professionally rocking comedy clubs, colleges, casinos, military bases and private parties throughout the world for the last twelve years. Whether he is performing in a sold-out theater to thousands of fans or in a rowdy bar in a tiny town to strangers who look like extras from Roadhouse, Claude always gives 100% and is able to connect with anybody.

Claude has done numerous USO and AFE tours for our troops; and he has been seen in many national comercials; including Doritos, Honda, Heneiken, Jeep Cherokee, Grapenuts, and even Midol. Seriously. Claude worked for HBO's "Dennis Miller Live!" for three seasons, and he has made several appearances on the nationally syndicated "Bob and Tom" morning show. He has appeared on television shows such as "Comics Unleashed"; "That 70s Show", "Scrubs", "The Best Damn Sports Show, Period!", "Last Comic Standing II", "Yo Momma!", "Oblivious!", "Talk Soup" and "Beverly Hills 90210". He has also appeared in feature films like Starship Troopers, Man on the Moon, and in the upcoming Fifteen Minutes of Fame; which was produced by Don Faison of "Scrubs". Claude is also the star of "Dick Nobody", the hit series on the Comedy Time network; and he recently won his episode of "Make a Hot Girl Laugh" for comedy.com.

Claude is a human cartoon onstage.

His hilarious physicality, his shameless stories of his consistantly bad luck, his unpredictable audience improv, and his nonstop energy make Claude Stuart stand out as a unique, top-notch "must-see" comedian.
